Founded by Mr. Anil Kumar Bagaria — who brings over 40 years of personal experience in steel industry measurement — Minco Tech (India) Pvt. Ltd. has grown into one of India's most respected names in steelmaking measurement solutions. For more than 34 years, we have specialised in the design and manufacture of immersion thermocouples, oxygen measurement probes, liquid steel samplers, and specialised lances and accessories.

Our products carry certification under BS EN 60584-1:1996 (ITS90) and are calibrated as per BS EN 60584-2:1993, and hold ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification. Every probe is engineered with one-to-one dimensional compatibility with major foreign brands, giving steel plants the confidence to switch without any system modifications.

Our team of 60+ professionals operates from a modern facility in Kolkata, strategically located near seaports for fast and cost-effective global logistics. Our manufacturing units in Kolkata are equipped with internationally sourced, highly automated machinery. This automation, combined with our skilled engineering workforce, allows us to maintain consistently high product quality while achieving some of the highest production volumes for steel-industry probes anywhere in India.

At full capacity, we can produce over 2 million temperature probes, 1.2 million samplers, and 200,000 oxygen probes annually — along with our full range of ULC, 2-in-1, 3-in-1 probes, equipment, and accessories.

Our production planning is structured to minimise lead times without sacrificing quality — so your plant's consumable supply is never a bottleneck.
